Pastor’s Message

Revelation 16:15 “Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.”

There are 3 things to ponder in this verse:

  1. Be watchful (expect the coming of Jesus and be ready because He is coming soon)
  2. Be Awake Spiritually Don’t be stagnant.
  3. Be dressed-in (Clothes signifies the righteousness needed to enter God’s Kingdom)

1 I will extol the LORD at all times;
his praise will always be on my lips.
2 I will glory in the LORD;
let the afflicted hear and rejoice.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Virma and I started to read devotional book to our baby Eunice Faith. And this is one of the verses that we had read to her (1 The 5:18). Although this is a profound verse, yet one thing I’ve learn in baby Eunice’s devotion and that is to give thanks whatever happens. Whether good or bad experience, having money or no money, and in whatever circumstances that we are in now WE SHOULD GIVE THANKS! For that is the will of God for us!

Pastor’s Message

Proverbs 10:19 When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.

Proverbs emphasized also that we MUST BE WISE/PRUDENT in using our tongue. In other words, we must be careful & not careless with our words. We should live not as unwise but as wise. But my question is: Are we talking to much? or Gossip about people’s mistakes? Cursing & saying unkind words?
I urge you beloved to ponder this verse, memorize & above all apply this verse. “Better not say a word than to utter words that might cause you to sin.
