Pastor’s Message

1 Corinthians 6:19b-20 You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body.

Paul the apostle rebuked the believers in Corinth because some of them practiced in getting involved in sexual immorality. Keep in mind that this people in Corinth were Christians but they participated with these kind of sins. That is why Paul reminded them and bring to their attention that their bodies belong to God, because Jesus paid the penalty of your sins (He paid it all) He saves us and redeemed us!
So, we need to respect God with our earthly body. How? By not abusing our body with too much liquor, smoking cigarettes, using drugs and sex outside marriage. We must avoid these sins and honor Jesus with our body!

Pastor’s Message

Psalm 111:10a The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding

To fear God means to respect Him, acknowledging that He is Holy and righteous. Notice that, “the beginning” or the starting point of wisdom is “to fear God”. Wisdom in other words is the application of knowledge. All who follow His commands has good understanding. Why? Because God teaches us to say “no” to ungodliness and worldly passions. He also wants us to live out His word by obeying His command. And that is fearing/respecting God!

Pastor’s Message

1 Corinthians 1:27-28a But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world…

God will use you no matter who you are. You don’t need to be a professional, an expert or intelligent to be qualified in order to serve the Lord. Rather, He wants you to be available and be willing to be used by Him. Humble yourself before the Lord and know Him all the more so that God can use you through the gift that he has given you. Remember God will use the weak so that God might display His power in you and that no one may boast before him.
