Pastor’s Message

Psalm 1247:1-2 Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. 2 In vain your rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat –for He grants sleep to those he loves.

What an amazing picture of God as the Ultimate Builder and Foundation in our homes, in addition He will be our Protector and knowing that He builds our home and protects our places, in verse 2, we can now R&R – (rest & relax) because He is our Rest and in Him alone we can find True -Rest.

Psalm Reading

Psalm 55:15-23
New International Version (NIV)
15 Let death take my enemies by surprise;
let them go down alive to the realm of the dead,
for evil finds lodging among them.
16 As for me, I call to God,
and the Lord saves me.
17 Evening, morning and noon
I cry out in distress,
and he hears my voice.
18 He rescues me unharmed
from the battle waged against me,
even though many oppose me.
19 God, who is enthroned from of old,
who does not change—
he will hear them and humble them,
because they have no fear of God.
20 My companion attacks his friends;
he violates his covenant.
21 His talk is smooth as butter,
yet war is in his heart;
his words are more soothing than oil,
yet they are drawn swords.
22 Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you;
he will never let
the righteous be shaken.
23 But you, God, will bring down the wicked
into the pit of decay;
the bloodthirsty and deceitful
will not live out half their days.
But as for me, I trust in you.

Happy Birthday

Pastor’s Message

Psalm 119:111 Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.

Looking at this particular passage of scripture, God taught and reminded me that life is not about what you have materially but it’s about having God’s word as your inheritance and legacy. People nowadays craved for power, personal interest, material things & etc. yet forgotten the most important thing in life “The WORD (Jesus)”. Therefore as God’s people let’s remember what Jesus had said: Heaven and earth will pass away buy my WORDS will NEVER pass away.

Psalm Reading

Psalm 54
For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A maskil[b] of David. When the Ziphites(A) had gone to Saul and said, “Is not David hiding among us?”

1 Save me, O God, by your name;
vindicate me by your might.
2 Hear my prayer, O God;
listen to the words of my mouth.
3 Arrogant foes are attacking me;
ruthless people are trying to kill me—
people without regard for God.
4 Surely God is my help;
the Lord is the one who sustains me.
5 Let evil recoil on those who slander me;
in your faithfulness(M) destroy them.
6 I will sacrifice a freewill offering to you;
I will praise your name, Lord, for it is good.
7 You have delivered me from all my troubles,
and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes.

Happy Birthday

Pastor’s Message

Psalm 119:72 The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.

The Psalmist desires to discover and know more about God’s valuable Words rather than plentiful pieces of silver and gold. What is more important to you (God’s word or physical treasure)? Jesus said: Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Therefore, let’s be more interested of the things of God than the riches of this world.

Psalm 53
For the director of music. According to mahalath.[b] A maskil[c] of David.

1 The fool(B) says in his heart,
“There is no God.”(C)
They are corrupt, and their ways are vile;
there is no one who does good.
2 God looks down from heaven(D)
on all mankind
to see if there are any who understand,(E)
any who seek God.(F)
3 Everyone has turned away, all have become corrupt;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.(G)
4 Do all these evildoers know nothing?
They devour my people as though eating bread;
they never call on God.
5 But there they are, overwhelmed with dread,
where there was nothing to dread.(H)
God scattered the bones(I) of those who attacked you;(J)
you put them to shame,(K) for God despised them.(L)
6 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
When God restores his people,
let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!

Pastor’s Message

Psalm 119:18 Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.

When I read this particular passage God reminded of the song “Open the Eyes of my Heart Lord”.
I am convinced that this should be our attitude every time we read God’s Word. We need to always ask and beg for His wisdom and understanding that He might open our Spiritual-eyes to see great things in His Words.
There’s so many things to discover in the Bible, as we continue to study His Words remember at all times and learn by heart — (Psalm 119:18)!!!

Psalm 52
For the director of music. A maskil[b] of David. When Doeg the Edomite(A) had gone to Saul and told him: “David has gone to the house of Ahimelek.”

1 Why do you boast of evil, you mighty hero?
Why do you boast(B) all day long,(C)
you who are a disgrace in the eyes of God?
2 You who practice deceit,(D)
your tongue plots destruction;(E)
it is like a sharpened razor.(F)
3 You love evil(G) rather than good,
falsehood(H) rather than speaking the truth.[c]
4 You love every harmful word,
you deceitful tongue!(I)
5 Surely God will bring you down to everlasting ruin:
He will snatch you up and pluck(J) you from your tent;
he will uproot(K) you from the land of the living.(L)
6 The righteous will see and fear;
they will laugh(M) at you, saying,
7 “Here now is the man
who did not make God his stronghold(N)

Pastor’s Message

Joel 2:32 And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the survivors whom the LORD calls.

What did you do to you obtained God’s Salvation? I believe you just simply Call on His Name. As the verse says: “everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.” Therefore, know that God is approachable, you can come to Him just as you are. He’ll answer you because God is merciful, good, abounding in love to all who calls on Him.

Psalm Reading

Psalm 51:13-19
New International Version (NIV)

so that sinners(B) will turn back to you.(C)
14 Deliver me(D) from the guilt of bloodshed,(E) O God,
you who are God my Savior,(F)
and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.(G)
15 Open my lips, Lord,(H)
and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 You do not delight in sacrifice,(I) or I would bring it;
you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
17 My sacrifice,(J) O God, is[a] a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart(K)
you, God, will not despise.
18 May it please you to prosper Zion,(L)
to build up the walls of Jerusalem.(M)
19 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of the righteous,(N)
in burnt offerings(O) offered whole;
then bulls(P) will be offered on your altar.

Pastor’s Message

John 11:25 Jesus said: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;

He’s not a liar! He said this statement before His death, burial and Resurrection. Indeed Christ has proven Himself to be faithful and true! For Christ’s crucifixion paid our sin in full but the fullness of our redemption is the Resurrection of Jesus because if there’s no resurrection our salvation will not be completed.

according to your unfailing love;(C)
according to your great compassion(D)
blot out(E) my transgressions.(F)
2 Wash away(G) all my iniquity

3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.(I)
4 Against you, you only, have I sinned(J)
and done what is evil in your sight;(K)
so you are right in your verdict
and justified when you judge.(L)
5 Surely I was sinful(M) at birth,(N)
sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb;
you taught me wisdom(O) in that secret place.(P)
7 Cleanse(Q) me with hyssop,(R) and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.(S)

12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation(AC)
and grant me a willing spirit,(AD) to sustain me.(AE)

Pastor’s Message

Psalm 94:19 When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.

Will you choose to be worried or joyful? Worries and anxieties will change us for worse but on the other hand, God’s comfort through His Living and Active Word –the bible bring consolation and joy to our soul. That’s why we should always allow His words to revive us and rejoice in the Lord!
