Pastor’s Message

Psalm 59:1b For you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.

Where will you sun in times of difficulties? In this particular chapter David knew the safe and protected place, that is in God alone. Most people sun to thier fellow-man but the scriptures tells us that the aid and help of man is worthless. So, in our time of troubles we should draw near to God for He is our fortress, shelter and protection, AN EVER PRESENT HELP IN TIME OF NEED.

Pastor’s Message

Psalm 36:4 Even on their beds they plot evil;
they commit themselves to a sinful course
and do not reject what is wrong.

There are 3 things to ponder in the Words of David. These are the sinfulness of wicked:
1. An evil person plans evil even on his bed
2. He surrendered and yielded himself into immoral ways.
3. Persistently indulge his sinful nature.
Beloved let us be careful, then, how we live not as unwise but as wise and bare in mind and heart to please God in your lifestyle.

Psalm Reading

Psalm 40:9-17
9 I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly;
I do not seal my lips, LORD,
as you know.
10 I do not hide your righteousness in my heart;
I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help.
I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness
from the great assembly.

Pastor’s Message

Matthew 25:21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

In my personal observation, “Faithfulness to God and faithfulness to God’s calling are lacking in lives of many believers nowadays”. And what should be our response to this? For me, we should be very careful to listen to the voice of God and learn to really yield our hearts to Him. So, “Be a faithful minister of Christ because He requires FAITHFULNESS!”

Psalm Reading

Psalm 40:1-8
1 I waited patiently for the LORD;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
3 He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear the LORD
and put their trust in him.

4 Blessed is the one
who trusts in the LORD,
who does not look to the proud,
to those who turn aside to false gods.[b]
5 Many, LORD my God,
are the wonders you have done,
the things you planned for us.
None can compare with you;
were I to speak and tell of your deeds,
they would be too many to declare.

6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire—
but my ears you have opened[c]—
burnt offerings and sin offerings[d] you did not require.
7 Then I said, “Here I am, I have come—
it is written about me in the scroll.[e]
8 I desire to do your will, my God;
your law is within my heart.”

Pastor’s Message

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

This message of hope and the establishment of his eternal kingdom was fulfilled during the Birth of Jesus Christ. This speaks also about John 3:16, Romans 6:23 plus many other verses in the Scriptures. For to us A CHILD IS BORN – He was born to saved us and left his throne to rescue us from the slavery of sins and finally to give us sure salvation. So, let us always be thankful in the message of Christmas and bear it in your mind and heart that JESUS IS THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL.

Psalm Reading

Psalm 38:13-22
13 I am like the deaf, who cannot hear,
like the mute, who cannot speak;
14 I have become like one who does not hear,
whose mouth can offer no reply.
15 LORD, I wait for you;
you will answer, Lord my God.
16 For I said, “Do not let them gloat
or exalt themselves over me when my feet slip.”

17 For I am about to fall,
and my pain is ever with me.
18 I confess my iniquity;
I am troubled by my sin.
19 Many have become my enemies without cause[a];
those who hate me without reason are numerous.
20 Those who repay my good with evil
lodge accusations against me,
though I seek only to do what is good.

21 LORD, do not forsake me;
do not be far from me, my God.
22 Come quickly to help me,
my Lord and my Savior.

Pastor’s Message

Psalm 10:4b In all his thoughts there’s no room for God.

It’s been said that “An idle mind is the devil’s workshop”. First, you have to ask this question: how’s my thought life? Am I thinking about God everyday or moment by moment? If not, it’s time to renew our thought liked because we become what we think. So let’s have the mind of Christ and allow His word to give us healthy thought life.

Psalm Reading

11 Ruthless witnesses come forward;
they question me on things I know nothing about.
12 They repay me evil for good
and leave me like one bereaved.
13 Yet when they were ill, I put on sackcloth
and humbled myself with fasting.
When my prayers returned to me unanswered,
14 I went about mourning
as though for my friend or brother.
I bowed my head in grief
as though weeping for my mother.
15 But when I stumbled, they gathered in glee;
assailants gathered against me without my knowledge.
They slandered me without ceasing.
16 Like the ungodly they maliciously mocked;[a]
they gnashed their teeth at me.

Pastor’s Message

Revelation 22:21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

When I read the Bible especially in the new covenant, it really amazed me because the word GRACE is consistently present even in the last verse of the Bible. And so as we often heard, read and experienced we should continue to embrace God’s amazing grace. For grace is Grace and that’s exactly what we need.

Psalm Reading

Psalm 35:1-10
1 Contend, LORD, with those who contend with me;
fight against those who fight against me.
2 Take up shield and armor;
arise and come to my aid.
3 Brandish spear and javelin[a]
against those who pursue me.
Say to me,
“I am your salvation.”

4 May those who seek my life
be disgraced and put to shame;
may those who plot my ruin
be turned back in dismay.
5 May they be like chaff before the wind,
with the angel of the LORD driving them away;
6 may their path be dark and slippery,
with the angel of the LORD pursuing them.

7 Since they hid their net for me without cause
and without cause dug a pit for me,
8 may ruin overtake them by surprise—
may the net they hid entangle them,
may they fall into the pit, to their ruin.
9 Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD
and delight in his salvation.
10 My whole being will exclaim,
“Who is like you, LORD?
You rescue the poor from those too strong for them,
the poor and needy from those who rob them.”

Pastor’s Message

Revelation 21:5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

In context with this chapter, the apostle John talks about the revelation about the New Jerusalem (which comes from Heaven not on earth). In other words, God is the one who made the heaven not man.
God spoke to of with this passage: “I am making EVERYTHING BRAND NEW!!!” that the heaven and the earth will pass away, and he’ll change it into NEW. Here on earth will pass away, and he’ll change it into NEW. Here on earth our body is temporary but He’ll give us glorified bodies in heaven. And in this world some streets are rough but in heaven the streets are pure gold. Thus, we shule look forward in this glorious promise of God.

Psalm Reading

Psalm 34:11-22
11 Come, my children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 Whoever of you loves life
and desires to see many good days,
13 keep your tongue from evil
and your lips from telling lies.
14 Turn from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it.
