1 John 2:1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defens -Jesus Christ the Righteous One

The Bible will keep you from sin and sin will keep you from the Bible. But thank God even if we sinned Jesus is our attorney who never loses in defending our case with that we will not be punished.
